Finally, we have the summer range ready! Our next challenge was to find the perfect location to shoot our new resort summer collection. Whilst driving through Geelong from the coast, I drove past Eastern Beach and instantly felt connected to this location with its relaxed summer vibe, perfect to showcase the new range. On the day of the shoot, initially the weather was overcast but as we took the first couple of shots the sun finally came out. On a recent trip to Bali we wanted to see more than the streets and beaches of Seminyak. Our first adventure leads us to Karma Beach. As soon as I saw the emerald green ocean through the lush tropical leaves I instantly felt connected and relaxed. As we were riding the cable car to the beach I felt inspired. I wanted to design a range that would be reflected in this environment. Clothes that make you feel confident from the beach to the bar. For our 2017 research we decided to chase the European sun. As our aesthetic is the lifestyle surrounding the water, we wanted to shoot our swimwear styles around the ocean to encapsulate these exotic locations, which were originally our inspirations. Our first stop was MYKONOS in Greece. Even though this is known as the party island, there really are some beautiful spots to visit and gain inspiration. We love this place, from the beautiful beaches and landscapes through to the amazing architecture and food.
